How much would you pay for this truck? I think the price is pretty high. There's 3 other 08's with the same lift that I'm looking at that are all listed for the same price. But this one is the color and package I want with the least miles.

I've never had to negotiate for a vehicle before so I don't know how much dealers are typically going to take off the stupid high sticker prices. I was thinking 25k max.

OME 3" lift with 885 coils. OME Shocks with TSB 1.5 AAL. 285/75/16 KM2s. XD Hoss 16" wheels. DDM Tuning 6000K HIDs, H10 6000K Fogs. BHLM. Debaged. 20% tint on front windows.
Link doesn't work... But in all honesty, buy a stock Tacoma and get the lift installed yourself, so you know it was done correctly. That's my .02, if you just want one that is already moded then go ahead.. Buyer Beware.

K, fixed the link. I'd like to buy lifted just because I know if I get stock I'll most likely never get around to doing it myself, or convince myself to spend the money.

24k would be tops for me depending on what kind of lift it has. If it has a spacer lift I would offer even less than that.

Why would you pay $27,000 for a USED 2008 with 27,000 miles? You can probably buy a BRAND NEW 2011 with ZERO miles on it for the same price. You'll be much happier with a new one that you can build yourself.

Its worth whatever you are willing to pay and the dealer will take. Otherwise keep looking. Personally most of the fun I have had with my truck is adding the mods. I bought it new and started adding what I wanted/my taste from there.

It appears that the dealer in this case is banking on a buyer to pay up for the lift and wheels and tires and the labor to add it all on. Good luck with your search....offer him 24k if your happy with the truck. The worst he can say is no. Is it being sold by Toyota as a certified used Toyota truck? Do you still have the 3year 36k warranty? Just a few thoughts....

I realize that 27k is redonkulous, which is why I was asking for opinions on what you would offer or pay for it. I was thinking 25k max.

I wouldnt tell them you want something already lifted. Don't treat the price any different than if it was stock. That price is pretty high imo. 25k max.

And I dont know anyone can find the same truck stock for 25k. Every new Tacoma 4wd Access or DC I've seen is 30k+ anything 1-2 years old with under 20k miles I've seen was 27+. The resale is almost insulting. i paid 23k for an 07 (a few months ago) TRD Access cab 4wd with 28k miles and that was as close to a realistic price I saw.

I'll agree on 25,000 max. What kind of warranty does that truck have? 36k or 100k? If you're happy with it I guess thats all that matters. Good luck

    Too few to list.
I wouldn't pay anymore for a lifted truck than a stock height one since the lift doesn't add value and might even take away value to a dealer trade in. They don't give you extra $$$ for a lifted vehicle so why pay extra for one?

for an 08 I dont think thats that bad of a deal whats the truck book for.. it seems like when we sell our shit ,we are all about High book but when we give advice on people to buy, we all are like telling people to try to rip one.. an 08 has to book for at least 25,000 i just put a 6 inch lift on mine in the fall, lift tires wheels skid plates and side steps were 4,300 so thats not too bad for an 08 in my book..

What I consider a reasonable price would probably be the Edmunds book price minus whatever it costs to return it to stock condition.

The exception is if you find someone who always wanted to put that lift on anyway; they might be willing to pay full book price for it.
