    that video is awesome. it would have been even better if the diesel pickup had slid into the ditch, too. it came close to the edge on the last few tries.

    You sir, are very correct.

    3 things I noticed right away:

    Too many people too close
    improper pulling angle
    nothing to tame that strap when it breaks

    I am surprised there wasn't a chain involved somewhere. There was a guy killed a few years ago here in MI by clevis going right through his back window and hitting him in the back of the head because they didn't put something over the strap. Anything from a jacket or a floormat will work. Please remember to do it while doing a recovery. And make sure it is a strap for that and not just a winch extension strap.
