I would be cautious of one thing. Female parts don't work as well at 40. Not that she can't have kids there is just more risk involved. Keep that in mind....

I like the rule, "half your age +8 years round up" so for you a 22 year old puma would be the youngest you could go. For her, she could be no more that 40 for the rule to work for you. This gets more and more of a stretch once you get older and older. Ie. 60 years old that would be a 38 year old. Yikes

Yes I am, and I am too. (yes, that statement makes sense)

I'm more pissed that my truck is still up on blocks. Camburg is rebuilding some stuff for me while I tear down and redo my brake system from the pedal on. This thing needs to stay running this time!!

I haven't read all the posts...but I had another brain fart.

The intimidation of dealing with the family is hard...but perhaps you look at it this way:

Just start going out with her and don't worry about the family at all. If you both continue to see eachother on a regular basis - then the family should be able to figure things out on their own. If they don't figure it out.....(DUH!) - then let them come to you with their questions about her. When they're ready to ask....they'll ask. Don't invite any information unless they ask.
And honestly.....they're probably just as uncomfortable about asking you about it as you are in telling them about it. You're far better off letting them come to you.

Hopefully - they'll see how happy you are together and the family won't even *question* it at all. Like it should be.

How old is too old is something only you can answer for yourself & depends on where you're at in the timeline of life. How old is too old shifts as you age. I'm about to be 49. Too old for me isn't even on your poll selection. Point is, I guess, is that there is no set age that's too anything(beyond being legal) in relation to your own. What matters is how you relate to each other & what makes magic. You'll know if it is, there will be no question. If that is mutual then you've found it. If not, keep looking. Age is irrelevant to a certain degree. Beyond that, make them all sing opera in a foreign language with a scrunched up face with lips in the shape of an "O". If they forgot their own name then your winning. Claw marks on your back = extra credit.
