Trying to pull my bedsides today along with a bunch of other stuff I need to get done. I need to slide the bed over a few inches to get to the bedside bolts behind the cab but I first need to get the bumper out of the way. There’s so many parts and wires going to this bumper I’m not sure where to start, or at this point if I’ll have enough time to get it all back together this afternoon.

It also seems like there’s a few fasteners holding the panel to the bumper but I’ve
    found only one bolt there.

    So many pieces :frusty:

Anyone got a diagram and / or pointers?

Just need to get the wings off. Do I have to break the clips that hold the top plastic piece on or is there a way to get them out and reuse them?

I’m so confused... I removed the rear bumper on my 2015 access cab 4x4 to install a curt towing hitch Frame which requires bumper removal for the process.... it’s literally six bolts on the frame and the entire rear bumper dropped down no problem. How do you have wiring in your bumper???

The bumper is like 40 pieces, and it has parking sensors.

Is there a way to just get the wings off without going through the whole removal process?

Oh gosh. Another reason I’m glad I stayed with the 2nd gen, there’s nothing in it, six bolts and the entire thing comes off ezpz.
    I’m sorry you’re having trouble with the 3rd gen’s sensor paradise x(

Also can you share a side view of the truck? In these pics it looks like it’s been beat to hell! Haha

The whole bumper comes off as one big piece with 6-10 bolts to the frame, two steel tabs that have little channels they ride in, and then the wiring harness for the license plate lights and parking sonar (shudder).

Shouldn't take more than 15 min to get off as one big piece. Unfortunately when I replaced mine with an RCI bumper, I was running solo in the heat so I didn't stop to take pics. But seriously, no need to dismantle the entire bumper.

If you just want the wings off, you'll have to deal with those plastic clips from your pic as well as pulling the step of the bumper up (its just plastic as well).
