Once I took out the center console, I kinda lost it. Took everything out, washed everything. Put some sound deadener here and there, put the carpet back, then put the rubber flooring in.
There a few spots I don't like but I'm hoping the summer will settle everything in place

    You went above and beyond!

For the ground did you just wrap the copper wire around the screw or did you use one of these? http://www.autotoys.com/pics/yellowringterminal1.jpg

Or can I just splice my ground into one of the ground wires already grounded on the screw? Sorry for all the Q's, I guess I am looking for a clean/easy install. I prefer clean though, so I am willing to do a little more work if necessary.

I think it's a pain to splice in the existing ground, and not necessary.
I didn't use the tab in your link, I skinned 3/4" off the end, gave it the round shape to fit the ground screw, than I put soldering iron to it so it don't move when screwing back in.
In the end, if your wire is well held(sorry for the english, frog over here), and its not everywhere "around the but, your good

I put a dab of locknut so the vibration doesn't loosen the nut, if you already have the ring connector, use it. If not, you can skin a bit longer than I did to go around the srcew a hole turn, a bit of locknut, good to go.

Hmm so I did the mod on my 2011 manual, followed all procedures. But it will turn off the 400w light while at speed/rolling.

Yes, it will work with the clutch in or out, just not while rolling

    16 minimum, in copper.
Aluminum needs to be bigger, but I don't use ALU. when I don't have instant access

    I used 12 gauge
With a 3 foot wire, I've got an "acceptable loss" of 5% power.

Ok, thanks. I am going to the autoparts store tomorrow so i'll buy some new wire.

Edit: My T-taps are 18-22g so I am assuming those won't work. I'll have to hold off on this until I buy some new ones on Amazon.

Actually, your fine with 18, made a mistake, sorry.
I entered 3, in the length square but I thought it was in feet, but it's in meters. So 18 would a been fine for my 3 foot cable
