    @Skootter14 , You post off subject shit but you don't get it? While we're trying to absorb electric wiring color codes, you wanna educate us on the difference between a heckalopter and SOME airplanes. (Some planes are flying rocks, doncha know.)

    I have a manual, the first mod would just be capping into the hot and neutral wires off the converter and adding a plug for 100w right? in order to do the 400w anytime requires the cutting and capping of the clutch wire and so on...

    Ok, just to be sure:

    When installing the clip in outlet (black square one);

    Bottom hole is obviously ground.
    Bigger slot is neutral.
    Smaller slot is hot.

    ??? Thanks :D

    ETA:also, I'd assume (not an electrician obviously) that it doesn't matter if the hot and neutral are swapped, because you can flip some plugs over if there isn't a fat side and skinny side (highly technical terms, stay with me here....).

    But, what if you wire this outlet wrong and have something plugged in in the can and the bed at the same time??o_O

    Large one neutral, short slot hot, U shape is ground
    I did this in an hour or 2 one evening, totally worth it. While you are in there you should do the inverter anytime mod. If you auto, its just grounding out one wire, purple i think, but you will have to look it up

    Did the install. Made sure to wire it right, and put a hot dual USB in the back while the console was off. Did the 400W anytime as well.

    Alright electrical gurus. I need some help. Trying to do the 100w anytime and my outlet tester says I have an open ground. I've verified contact with a ground surface, however, thats not correcting the issue. I even tried connecting the ground wire directly to the battery and still comes up as open ground. I've tried two different outlets to see if the outlet had issues. Nope. What am I missing?

    It has something to do with the DC to AC converter, answered previously in this thread IIRC. I'm not a genius, but someone smarter than me answered it in here.
