I am trying to add a amplifier and sub to my stock head unit in my new taco. I dont want to cut any of the stock wiring behind the h/u and don't know what wiring harness I need. I was wondering if anyone knew what I need to connect the amp to the head unit or had pics. Thanks

If you want something to give you a little more tunability then perhaps something like this:

    http://www.amazon.com/AudioControl-6-Channel-Output-Converter-Restoration/dp/B00ATHBO86/

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000OI7TTI (not currently available, but something like this ...)

This will give the best sound quality and allow fine tuning of the signal to better suit your speakers.

It is pretty simple. You would also need to wire power for the amp but thats about it. I feel a 6 channel converter is unnecessary when only adding an amp for just a subwoofer.
