    i just bent the pillar bracket by hand then stuck it on with some outdoor rated double sided tape.

    I used stainless steel pop rivets after loading the holes with silicone for the snorkel support. Rock solid.

    Yep that's what I used. I let it set up for about 30 minutes and then when tightening the inside the fender nuts I swear they felt like they were never tightening because I felt like the studs were just backing out of the snorkel. Back to attempting to finish this morning.

    Tip: after dropping and loosing 2 washers and 2 nuts trying to get the fasteners on the stud closest to the A pillar. We super glued the nut to the washer, this gave us more to hold on to making it possible to get the nut on the stud. Still was a royal pain in the ass, but doable.

    Dave, that looks great. How much did the snorkel change the engine tone? Both inside and outside the cab. I've seen videos of people installing various CAIs and those really change the sound quite a bit. I was wondering how much the snorkel changes it.

    Just drove it for the first time this morning. Changed some but honestly with the tire noise it's hard to tell. But I did notice some difference. Let you know after I've driven it more.

    Another tip: when using the heat gun on the elbow, be careful. It will seem like the heat isn't doing anything, but then before you know it, the elbow will melt. Ask me how I know. :eek:
