Prerequisite: Take headlights off truck and open headlight assembly by following a BHLM thread. Here is a good thread that will make your fingers happy.

    1. Order Parts
I ordered Morimoto Demon Eyes. They do offer a RGB LED but it is physically much different so I couldn't recommend the following step for them. Amber and white are the only legal colors anyways, I don't like being stopped by cops. I ordered mine from the Retrofit Source and got a bracket for the ds2. The bracket didn't work but the bolts did. You can also get 2.5mm bolt roughly 1/2" long and 2.5mm nut from a hardware store. Since I am anal, I also got 6 total 2.5mm washers to make the board more flush, not the end of the world but I don't know how they would turn out without them.

    2. Drill a hole in the top of the low beam projector "trim"
My measurements are suggestions and I would recommend dry fitting the LED board with masking tape to make sure it will work. Drill bit size : 3mm or 1/8"

    3. Trim "X" logo on LED board
The "X" will cause problems only on the driver side. You can cut both driver and passenger to simplify things. Use scisors, nail clippers, wire cutters, file, or whatever you have around that can cut it down.

    4. Install LED
It goes (2.5mm bolt, LED board (facing head of bolt), 3 x 2.5mm washers, through bottom of trim, 2.5mm nut on top of trim). The washers level the LED board so it shines dirrectly downward. The arrow shows the chip on the back that makes the board uneven without washers.

    5. Run wires
I ran them around the back of the high beam and cut a slit in the rubber rectangle on the back of the headlight housing. I siliconed around the wire and haven't had moisture. A grommet through the back of the headlight housing plastic would be the best seal but I got tired experimenting at this point.

    6. TEST BEFORE SEALING HEADLIGHT HOUSING!
The last thing you want is to find out that the LED is broken or something isn't right once you've already sealed the damn thing.

As far as hooking the LEDs to the truck it's up to you. There are many options, like making them run the same as the blinkers, on with fogs, on with DRL's, on the same relay as the low beam so they never run simultaneously, on it's own button in the truck, ect. I HIGHLY recommend putting an in-line 5-amp fuse. Its better safe than your nice truck on fire on the side of the highway while people laugh driving by.
I hooked it up so when the accessory is on, they are on. The Demon Eye does not affect the low beam in performance or color (last picture). They are amber in appearance and pretty dim. In broad daylight, you can hardly tell they are on the truck, but at dawn/dusk they look good.

I prefer the passive demon eye(painting the inside shrouds). Did mine black to go with the BHLM. But nice work:thumbsup:

I was actually wondering about that, as I have had a set of the morimoto Demon eyes laying around for a couple years so I might just put them to use!
