    Hey Tacopeople,

I'm looking for an SR with the utility package I've read about on this board and on the Toyota website. It basically removes the back seats from an access cab to generate more space -- it's meant for a work truck.

I've been calling dealers in the LA area and asking, and they have no idea what I'm talking about. Yet I've seen multiple users here with what I'm looking for.

Does anyone have a hack for finding specific inventory? I really want this truck for my biz.

Have you checked to see if anyone is selling theirs or are you looking for a new one? There are plenty of people looking to upgrade from the utility package to double cab.

From what I've seen, buying used really doesn't save you very much with these trucks. I'd like to buy a new one.

I'll keep calling a huge list of dealers, but it seems silly... there has to be a better way!

Have you considered maybe buying an access cab sr with the rear jump seat and selling them? There’s money to be made there.

Yes, that's what I'm looking for. But on a lot, available for purchase. I've built one online like you did, requested a quote and then dealers respond and try to sell me a 30k truck.

The package subtracts 1700... it's more than the seats.

Though if anyone wants to give me 1700 for two seats, some seatbelts and cupholders in minty fresh condition I am GAME!

    YW.
I just googled Toyota near Los Angeles and several dealers popped up, just happen to check out Autonation first. You want to bargain them down though you should get it cheaper.

Sweet guys, I found one! Now, if only I could get a deal on it. From what I've read getting things under MSRP are pretty tough, huh?

maybe during limited production/covid. Outside of that, people have been scoring hefty discounts. There’s a sticky thread on what people have been paying for their 2021s. Check it out.

i just read 20 pages of the 2021 price thread. All I saw was TRD and 4x4 and those prices seemed firm. What’s your basis for expecting a lower price here?

First serious price is 5k over msrp. Definitely, no.

My basis is I always offer to pay a lower price, they either accept it or not. It’s called negotiating. May not be the best time to get a fair deal but worth a try. I saved a thousand and got a free bed extender when I bought mine right before the next year models came out, that’s the best time to buy.
