Alright, I know this is probably repetitive, but I couldn't find my answer in another thread.

How can I fit 35s on my 2nd gen without rubbing/grinding? I'm thinking something like a 315/80/16, or something similar. What amount of lift would I need? I'm going to replace the fenders I have with FiberwerX Offroad Fenders and Bedsides and get a Relentless Fab front bumper. Would I still have rubbing issues or would I have to cut into something to get more turning clearance? Could I add spacers and would these be safe? I'm looking to spend upwards $5000 just on front/rear suspension systems maybe more and don't plan on going the cheap route. Any suggestions will help.

Cab mount chop and pound the pinch weld back. Not worth it if you aren't going to re-gear as well.

Your looking at a DB and even then have minimal cutting to do..

Even with glass its the cab mount and pinch weld in the way

I'm going to regear as well. $5k for suspension components only, plan on putting $2-3k into wheels and tires, and then $1-2k for regearing and tuning.

Thanks all for the input, helped me plan!

You will rub a little no matter what, but well worth it from what I've seen :D

Just ask blacktacoma23, you notice it a lot less when flooring it over curbs in the parking lot ;)

Off topic but we need a smiley where the smile is taking a hammer and banging on a tacoma. It would fit this thread perfectly :)

Now back on topic. lift, cut, chop, bang away

Lifting doesn't do anything to fit tires. (minus body lift  ) just cut, it will be cleaner and way better in the long run.

Damn, 37's???? Who's build is that? That is as clean as I've seen. My next set of tires will be 35's and have already pounded the pinch weld and chopped the cab mount to fit my 33's. I'd like to clean it all up like the above and get some 2" flare fiberglass.

The rear will prob be an issue?
