new stereo, rear leaf tsb, front 5100s @ .75. weather tecs and wet okoles.
I just installed some 5100s with stock coils on my 2011 ac 4x4. I set them to .85 to level out the truck after the tsb to the rear was done.

I just wanted to say thanks for all the info in this thread. it made the job very easy. 4 hours total including clean up.

here's an after shot. 1.5" of rake.

is this way really that simple? all he did was loosen the cam bolts on the lca and the knuckle bolts.

wouldn't you still have to disconnect the ball joint on the uca and sway bar and shit?

Thats the easiest way to do it if you have the truck on a lift.

5100's all 4 corners, front at .85 with Eibach Coils, Rear TSB w/AAL, TRD Catback Exhaust, AFE Pro Dry S, Duratracs, redline hood struts, maglight mod, weathertechs
What does that LCA cam bolt get torqued to? I didn't see them say on the vid. Going to try this method Sat. Seems simpler than how I did this last time.

New to the sight and this thread has been a huge help!
I just finished replacing my stock bilsteins with the adjustable 5100s and my ride has improved dramatically.
Unfortunately I had to set them at the lowest setting because I wasnt able to get either UCA bolt to release, and I didnt have the clearance to adjust the strut any higher...I tried hiting it out with a hammer and a piece of wood, working it with a padded pry bar from the top, and using a C clamp....and every combination of the 3.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I can get the UCA bolt to release?
It seems like it is just stuck up there for good, and I really would like to get an extra 1.5 in in the front.

Yeah they are usually pretty tough to get out. Just soak it in some PB blaster and take a hammer to it. It will eventually some out.

Right with an 05 yours has been together for 6 years, it is going to take some hammer blows to pop off. As I remember right I used a rubber mallet.

If you have one use a dead blow hammer.
