How to Get All Four Wheels Powder Coated?

    I'm interested in getting my wheels powdercoated but was wondering what the process was like. Do I take the company just the rim or the entire wheel (with tire)? And also, do I just leave my truck on stands for a few days while theyre being painted?

    Take off wheels, take it to a place have the tires and rims seperated, Take rims to powder coat place... leave your truck on stands... reverse those directions when done... a good place shouldn't take to long...

    Yeah- you've got the process. Other option is rattle can or prepared auto paint. It's cheaper and faster than PC...and it's easier to touch up in case of damage.

    Deffinetly easier.. but my guy did mine for 25 a wheel.. and they are MUCH MORE durable then the Puff Can... but very true though.

    They are more durable....but if you do manage to crack that finish- You are getting the whole rim done again. I like the rattle can on mine...I perfected the color and finish and have done a few repairs just recently after a year of moderate wheeling and street driving.

    If I didn't wheel my truck I would probably get the PC'd.
