I have never worked on suspensions before but felt confident I could change my shocks.
I was going to change the rears and then take off the fronts and have the springs compressed on the new front shocks.
Well I never even got the rear shocks off. The 14mm nut on the top kept turning with the shock. I looked and tried a few different things but didn't have any success.
I am sure it is something simple but can someone please help?
If someone is local that wants to help I have cold beer.

Thanks for the quick reply. Once I get some more time I will give it a try with the vise grips.
