From my research it is recommended to keep the drive line angles close to the same as stock. You may get unwanted vibrations without. Its a cheap pc so I installed it with my lift and the truck drives great.

How are these offroad, like weekend warrior/camping, like to play in the mud alittle and do some crawling up rocks. But nothing crazy.

I'm running the OME Nitrochargers with 886 springs and dakars. I probably could have gone with the 887 or 888 coils and softened up the front a little. I chose to go with a stiffer setup running the 90000 stiff shocks instead of the 90021 soft ride shocks. It rides a little stiff but IMO it still rides nice. I have gone to offroad parks before and after the lift and it handles much better than the stock OR suspension. I have also gone on a 2k+ mi road trip and it was a comfortable ride even after a 14hr day on the road. The suspension has been great but I've never had a lifted vehicle before this. Build log is in my signature below.

Watching the Old Man Emu videos retriggered my itch to lift. I'd talked myself out of lifting but now I'm telling myself it must be done.

Also interested in this. Looks like this setup is the 887s and Soft Ride struts.

currently torn between soft ride and firm ride.

You don't need UCA's with this kit, but we highly recommend it. To get you full potential of travel out of your lift. This kit should align within spec.

What's tour opinion on doing the ecgs bushing at the same time, even if I currently don't have any vibration?

Old thread but good info since I'm installing the same kit on my Tacoma today. Having had a very similar OME coilover on my previous 4Runner, I know this is the best kit for me, especially being in the Northeast U.S. I had a set of adjustable coilovers on that same 4Runner, and and they were junk after 1 winter with all the road salt. I often get my vehicles out on the beach on the east coast, and the OMEs have held up the best.

Nice, reliable, dependable suspension option for our reliable, dependable trucks!

Stupid question and maybe one that has already been answered but if this is a whole new leaf spring setup, then why was there an "Existing" bushing that needed knocked out by a 30mm socket on the one end and the new bushings installed? or did I miss something? I watched it twice and must have missed something??

what upper control arms you recommend pairing with the kit?

why is the kit advertised 2 inch lift, but you got 3 as a final result?

great videos for instruction on any lift. well edited.
