Quick question for you guys, after having the Westcott kit installed, I thought i did notice some steering wheel shake in certain instances on the freeway. From reading other threads it looks like castor should be set higher then factory specs during alignment. Should it be higher?

How's everything working out? Are you happy with the set up? How's your transmission liking the 285's? Power Loss? Fuel hit?

So ended up ordering some JBA UCA’s and a ECGS bushing. After the Westcott kit and the Icon AAL, I’m getting bad highway vibes and steering wheel shake. Even after the alignment. I also have 32” inch tires so I’m guessing my castor is way to low for the lift now as it’s only 1.5 on both ends now. Hoping after the install of the new parts I get a smooth riding truck again!

Interesting. Seems like none of the Pro trucks have had to do that but adding the Pro shocks to an Off-road require more steps. Hmm?

The pros use the exact same UCA’s and leaf springs, so don’t know what else could effect it

Actually, The Pro’s have their own Leaf Springs. They are lighter duty. There is a little yellow sticker in my door jamb that says something about reduced load capacity. No matter, the leaf pack should not be the cause of your vibration and steering wheel shake. The alignment being off should also not cause a shake or vibration. It could cause poor handling and bad tire wear though. From what you wrote it sounds like a tire balance issue to me but I could be wrong.

That sticker is on all cars that come with any accessory. Miy trd offroad has it because of the dealer installed bed mat.

Got the pro suspension with the westcott lift, I have 295/70, so, 33.5" tires, I chopped the cab mount and put a 2" AAL in the rear.

Sits a touch low in the front, and rubs just a tiny bit when turning over a bump. Probably going to pull that .5" spacer from the top and add a 1" spacer. Should solve the rub issue, and level it out.

Hi guys, I know this thread is more for TRD Pros but I wanted to see if anyone has had luck with the HS 1/2" top plates. I have a 2017 TRD OR with 2019 TRD Pro Fox take offs and an Icon mini pack AAL. The truck rides really nice but the front sites a little lower then I would like and has a lot of rake. If I can get 1" back up front that would help a lot but I don't want to have any UCA/spring clearance or CV issues. This is what is being considered:

    HS 1/2" or LROR Plate: https://www.headstrongoffroad.com/store/p30/HS_1/2"_Top_Plate_Spacers_-_TT05512-TPS.html , https://www.lowrangeoffroad.com/toy...ser-top-plate-spacer-kit-approx-3-4-lift.html

Nylock Nuts to replace the stock nuts:

1/4" bump stop spacer for the front super bumps:

Anyone have this combination and have any issues or success? Any feedback is appreciated.
