You'll have to take up testing with @mark@eibach...I can't help ya there!

As far as the weight of the bumper and winch question, I'll quote @mark@eibach from the Eibach TRD Pro Springs thread:
In my opinion dividing the weight into each corner will not work for a bumper and winch. All that weight is past the front wheels, so there will be more weight on the front suspension. How much more? I'm not an engineer, so I don't know. I think this works for skids and sliders, but not for a bumper and winch. Anyway, even if it is the full weight of just the bumper and winch on the front suspension (in this example 200 lbs) it would only be approximately .16" of compression (200 lbs divided between the two front springs) on the front springs since they are single rate (not progressive). I'd say you would be fine to run the Eibachs in this instance.

I’ve had the westcott lift kit in the front for a couple months now, have been off road a few times.
I feel that the suspension is a little stiffer, but by no means bone jarring.
I opted for the Icon AAL in the rear over the blocks that westcott offers.
I had my alignment done at the dealership, drives great, no issues.
Over all, I’m really happy with the set up.704EE6C9-A400-451D-82BA-81268761A517.jpg

RedLantern, did you happen to measure the length of the front coils after removing from the coilover? If so please post, thank you!

    Aloha @GOLIVER0131 !
Sorry bro I didn’t measure the spring itself. It never crossed my mind. Hopefully someone sees this and when they do the lift, they can do a measurement on it.

Did those spring compressors mar the shit out of the shockbody ? Used the same ones Friday and once compressed it wouldn’t let me pull the shock out til I decompressed them .

@mysubiewasalemon I rented a spring compressor to install my Westcott lift and it looked like it was rubbing the shocks pretty bad. I ended up removing/installing the springs by jacking up by the LCA. A lot safer that way in my opinion and I’m no mechanic.

It marred a little on mines, not a lot. It was the only type the parts store had which sucked. But nothing too serious since I could knock it down with a little file and sand paper.

Actually I’ve done this on my 2nd gen to decompress everything and for the install process. But that was with the stock suspension. I jus didn’t try because wasn’t sure if the preload was too strong to put everything back together. If I were to jack the LCA back into place to hold everything in, It might lift the truck off the jack stands because of the stronger preload.

This is exactly the set up I was thinking about. What size tires are you running? Any rubbing?

    285/75/R16 BF KO2's on stock rims,no spacers.
Had to do lots of heat gun treatment to the front wheel wells, no front mud flaps.
I get a tiny bit of rubbing in reverse full lock, left or right, can't remember?
Have had it on moderate off road trails, no problems, very happy.

Did you go with E load tires in that size? I cannot find a SL load rated tire for that size you posted.

Yes, they are E rated, they are not light, and you will notice a stiffer ride.
you can fit a spare, but you will have to use a rubber mallet to flatten out some guide bars under the bed. 5 minute job.

Which AAL? Icons? I have the Westcott lift with 1” rear blocks 285/70/17 C. Not completely happy with the rear ride quality and looking at Icons AAL.

I’m actually getting the ones from 88 Rotors. It’s a local shop. He said they are progressive and they are only gonna add 1”. I just wanted something rated for around 300-500lbs that will be a little better when I tow. I can let you know how they workout.

Got the westcott installed today along with 88 rotors AAL good for 0-300 lbs. Added about 2” all around. Was hoping for 2” front and 1” rear but it’ll be fine. I’ll try to test it out, but I don’t foresee any rubbing. Just need to get an aligment. Looking for a decent shop in Los Angeles. Saved the old parts too if I ever decide to go with the eibach springs if they eventually come to market. This is with the 33” 285 75 R16
