I have 255 80 17s on my 2018 AT Pro and I dont mind it on the highways. There was a difference in downshifting starting into an incline it would shift much earlier then before but on flat surfaces it stays in 6th gear. I to drive 2 hours a day for work.

Well that sounds a lot better than what I experienced with my other one. What kind of mileage are you getting?

Did you add new UCA’s? How’s the steering on the road? Any issues with any of that?

no new UCAs needed, i noticed no steering difference from stock. everything seemed the same to me and it’s my daily driver.

about your tire size comment though, i just got 265/75/16 KO2s put on before the revtek lift and thought the truck looked good but when i put the lift on it was very unsatisfied with the look and gap from tires to the truck. So i put those new 265s KO2s on craigslist asap and got some 285s and everything looked great. even with 33’s with stock gears it isn’t a problem (truck is still slow as it was before the lift and tires) lol

cedro peak trail in tijeras NM! gate at the end was locked for some reason and we had to do the whole trial again to get out instead of just going one way like we planned but i had such a good time on it with the snow i didn’t mind!

Thanks a lot for the feedback. Have you noticed what kind of mileage you’re getting after 285’s?

a best of 16mpg regardless of hwy or street (non-ECT mode, that’ll lessen it to 14.5mph if u drive in that on the hwy)

Did you recalibrate? because the MPG on your dash is not going to be correct if you didnt. On larger tires your traveling further then your truck think so your MPG might not be as bad as it shows.

oh i didn’t even think about that but no i didn’t recalibrate anything. but my tank always calulates 364 miles left when i fill up so if the tank is 21 gals then i guess it’s more like 17mpg

Yeah that is a good way to do it if your traveling the same distance everyday. Where I drive to work changes so I dont get that luxury especially since every direction I could potentially go has different terrain to drive up and down lol.

Well I’m doing the lift today. Did one coilover last night, painted the spacers black with VHT epoxy. I like the black. Looks pretty low key. B9C15B9C-DC8C-4DEB-AA13-149379CC1644.jpg 19CE37D1-28EC-4664-9BE0-8B0224BF53AD.jpg

Is anyone else not a fan of preloading the front suspension like that? Hopefully that type of lift does not wear out the expensive Fox shocks prematurely.

I’m not really a fan of preload spacers, but cranking the collar on adjustable coilovers has the same effect.

Not true. The PRO shocks are entirely different than aftermarket coilovers. Spring length is different. Preloading the PRO shocks is a bad idea

Quit listening to what everybody thinks, put a 1.5 inch spacer up fronton top of the coilovers ,and a 1-2 inch STEEL block or AAL in the back, and done.

So did you experience any rub at all with the 1.5 spacer, aal, and with 285's??
