    Oh man…
After looking at your truck and others for the last month (pretty much every day because I research too much) I finally ordered 285/75/16’s... Your setup just seems like the perfect balance for form and function. Deavers and wescott parts should be here in the next few days and be ready for the tires. Picked up a 5th wheel and ordered 5 cooper st maxx in that size.

Just try putting them on and do some turning and see if they rub? It literally takes 5 minutes or less to reinstall w/ a 10mm:cool: your rears should be fine. I have 33 skinnies and no rub on the rear and very minor up front when fully compressed. I took the front ones off and got some sliders w/ plates that should do the same job for the front:D
Don’t trust dealers on the details, they don’t make money off them. I’m surprised the dealership installed that size tire for ya in the first place!

Sorry, just saw this. No, my factory mud flaps don’t rub at all. Did they give you the flaps?

Gotcha. Can’t hurt to slap them on and give it a try. The dealer that told you that probably just assumed they would rub

I just had the Westcott lift installed on my truck (front lift only). I did the ICON AAL kit for the rear. Tech who did the install left out the rear overload leaf as the ICON AAL instructions state to do that. I took the truck out and the front is a bit higher. When I'm driving on the highway, it feels like I'm in a plane and getting ready for take off. Shop where I had everything installed offered to put the overload leaf back in as doing so would make the truck level. However, rear might feel stiffer with the overload in. Will let y'all know how that goes. Wondering if y'all had similar experiences?

I have exact same set up on my truck. And they left the overload spring out. My lean isn’t too bad but it is noticeable. I did westcott designs front lift too.

What is the height difference between front and rear? Mine sits pretty level. Maybe was 1/8” higher in front before I installed Hiline front bumper (no winch) and now it’s pretty close to even.

Edit: I forgot about this video. Your spring perch may not be seated properly. Measure it like in the video to see.

Hey Mikro, thanks for the video. It sits about half an inch higher in the front. Will measure spring perch and see what I get. If it is installed properly then I'll just add the overload back in and all should be good. It will just ride a bit stiffer in the rear. I can live with that.

    You got it.

I also remember seeing a post where someone asked Westcott if you can remove the .5” spacer at the top of the spring and they said yes. So you could go that route if the ride is too stiff w/ the overload spring back in.

Installed yesterday...no rub but maybe a half inch at full wheel turn.

Do you still have stock fox suspension or did you have to get extended travel?

Stock shocks, working great. Both companies really make outstanding products.

Looks great! Thinking about the same lift combo as well. Did you need to recalibrate the sensor on the grill? Also, would it rub if you had on mud guards?

Thanks! I haven’t touched the sensor, everything works great. It rides WAY better than stock. Also ditched the sway bar while I was under there. Took it around the corner to check the alignment, just a little toe in adjustment and everything is perfect. Tracks great. I’m also a big fan of E rated tires when a lot of weight is added.

Forgot to answer the mud guard question. Not sure honestly but I want to get a set of the aftermarket ones. Can’t remember the name, starts with an R...

Whilst running errands I found my new truck! Just sitting there waiting for me. Westcott kit installed, just need to swap my tires and mud flaps on there. 5 months since I ordered it.

Rokblokz!! Get the XL size, there’s a little tab you’ll have to trim off the front ones but they will sit more flush with the inside of the wheel well and won’t rub at all.
