I have this lift on my truck when I bought it and have a ride question. Buy placing the front lift spacer above the spring, that should preload the spring and make for a stiffer ride correct ? Were if the spacer was above the spring like most spacer lifts that would not have any preload and make for a more smoother ride by returning the spring to factory length.I feel the ride to be a bit harsh in the front end.

Meaning for a better ride spacer should been on top of strut. Not inside on top of spring.Inside on top of spring is preloading the spring for a stiffer ride.On top of strut spring would be full length for a smoother ride.

Wish it’d more in the fron
You are correct. Spring spacer puts more preload on spring while a top plate spacer moves whole shock assembly down

Little bit of this and a little bit of that but stock af.

I need wheel spacers with my 285’s. It taps my uca’s at full lock. I guess every truck is made different.

With these lift kits, is there a diff drop, or driveshaft spacers at all? Or no need for all that stuff?

I pulled my Revtek preload spacer out. I could sure as hell tell a difference in ride quality, maybe not initially because I was excited with it, but after a week or two of daily driving I was getting frustrated with feeling every pebble and tar line on the road. The first time my wife drove it after the preload went on she complained about how much stiffer it was. I swapped it out last night for a 1.5” top plate spacer off Amazon that cost $50. I’ve swapped UCA’s over to TC so I guess if it works with these top plates I’ll extend the bumpstops and call it a day.

I assume you have the Fox shocks on your 17 ? I have a 15 with Bilsteins and want to remove the Revtek spacer also but people are saying they dont make a top lift spacer for the 15's

Yes, it has the Fox. Everyone says a top plate won’t fit these either.
