Oh :( My dad used to fly freight in Lears a long time ago. Now he is a pilot for American. I'd love to get some wheels up time in a Lear jet. I rode in a 31 once and I was amazed at the speed! Do you fly for a company or an individual?

    Edit: It is a 172

I have a buddy that flies for AA. He's a captain for an MD-80... the long, loud rocket :)

Very nice. I have been having long debates about corporate vs airline. I have an uncle that flies corporate, and the rest of most of my family works for various airlines.

Man I hope you don't take this the wrong way but you may want to take this to a shop that knows what's going on. This was something fairly simple to figure out. What's are you going to do if you run into a major hiccup installing the lift?

I promise I'm not trying to be a dick or be that guy. I just don't want you to be two weeks later I got my truck back from bobs garage and they charged me 500 to put my lift on and 100 to tow it to their shop.

I'm glad you asked before you did something wrong but maybe let someone else do the lift.

$1500 For a HF Jack? Hell no. No way I would trust that (I know... I'm late to the party). HF is good for selling cheap tools that you don't really care if they break.

    those are cute ;)

agree no way i would get under or put a limb under anything from HF... u can get legit lifts for your garage for a little more than the HF one and trust them. the one i have will lift the tundra with no problem for brake jobs or tire rotations, but with the tundra on it, i DEF would never ever get under it. but smaller cars i trust the atlas. yes with my life. u get used it .

if you do a lot of work on your truck its a great investment. id say its leaps ahead as far as safety too. if you have other cars you work on, it just adds to the pleasure and comfort of wrenching jobs. you need tall ceilings though. you park one of your vehicles over it so technically doesnt use up any space.

i wish the red one was mine lol ;)

    haha!

Like a kid with a ridiculously lifted truck compensating for 'something', I'm fine with driving the little sports cars of the sky. :proposetoast:
