bigger tires is always a good idea to make ur truck look bigger....i have so fat a$$ tires on my truck and i havent had ne gas mileage drop from the smaller tires....right now im rockin 305/55/20 in the rear on a 20x12 and 285/50.20 on a 8.5

u can always put the window deflectors and the hood insect deflector...that makes it look a little bit bigger...

a leveling kit isnt too expensive....

i mean thats all i have on the exterior of the truck and it look real aggressive and beefy.....but the tires and wheels were the expensive part!! there is one pic of my truck in my garage and i barely clear the top of the truck in the garage...and before i leveled it and put the tires on i have almost afoot and a half clearance now i have maybe 3 or 4 inches

265/70r17 is the same dimensions as 265/75r16 (besides the rims being 17 inches of course). I'll try and get some pics up of my truck, but if you search on here for images of trucks with 32" tires thats what you'll see.

As far as performance, I've had them on for about 5 months now and do not notice any real difference. I got heavy ass tires too. About 50lbs a piece because they are load range D. Try and get some Load Range C tires and it will be even better, and stay away from Load range E (pretty unnecessary on our trucks in my opinion.)

You won't notice a difference in performance trust me. There is probably a difference I'm sure, but it's so minuscule that it doesnt matter.

    Good luck!

Ok...I have used the search function and read the hell out of many threads! This one has messed me up a little though...........What is the difference between 265-70 and 265-75? Which is the largest that will fit without rubbing?

And I respectfully defer to those who have been there and done that! :)
Actually, I didn't really give my original reply enough thought, as I usually push the envelope with regards to tire size no mater what I'm putting them on. Fact is, it does indeed make a difference.

You forgot , lose the front flaps , half of your inner fender , cut your body mount and drop about 5 MPG

take off the mud flaps. any step rails which make it look like its lower, if your looking for cheap, rough country makes a spacer lift for about 250 dollars. and you could step up to 265/70/17 which is about an inch taller
