So the plastic thing in the center comes out when I put the new ones in right? and do I need to put any more grease in them before I install them, or is the grease in them enough?

Yup, take out the plastic before you press. You can pack more grease in, just make sure it's compatible with the grease that's in there. Talked to the Moog guys, and they said the grease used in theirs is either white lithium, or white lithium based. Now just gotta call valvoline and see what they have that is compatible with that. Let ya know.

Well that wasn't the same at all. I didn't replace those seals at all. But the innner and outer seals for the bearings, you can get 710477 and 710573 much cheaper than what the dealer sells em' for, and the O-ring is still a dealer only item, along with the 43501k and 43502k, even though those two are exactly the same. I am going to measure the O-ring tomorrow and maybe able to find it somewhere else beside the dealer for less than $5.17 a piece.

I ordered what I thought would be the inner and outer Seals/ o-rings. Did I get the wrong thing? I got the Timkin 710573, and the National 510573

One said inner and the other said outer. They look very similar and I was put off that they both had the same part number. Did i get the wrong thing?

Here's what rockauto.com lists for wheel seals.
The National Front Outer, Base Model is a larger size than the Timken Front Outer, RWD.

I got my 2 wheel seals today. The metal ring on one of them is a different diameter than the other. Is that right? Also I never got the oring, how vital is that/can I use the old one if need be?

Thanks. I haven't taken it apart yet but what is the oring for/where is? If need be, can the old one be used?

Does anyone know the dimensions of the O-Ring on the wheel bearing?

Just got these the other day as I could find all the part numbers in one easy location. This is from Toyota's Parts Desk. Hope this makes it a little easier for everyone.

damn. that is a rather impressive site

it just doesn't provide a diagram to show exactly where each part is intended to go

    Maybe I missed the diagram.
All I got was lists of part numbers.

Maybe just didn't see the link. I've missed other things before.
