How to Replace 2nd Gen Exterior Rear Door Handles on Double Cabs

It comes with driver's side key hole cover and regular passenger side cover or you can get two front key hole covers if you have a keyhole on passenger and driver side

 

Got my set today from dallas toyota, all was good except they sent me a magnetic grey driver's side door lock cover! Hopefully they can get the correct silver sky cover soon.

The front set is very easy. This thread helped me a lot with the rear but when I slid the latch out of the way to get to the torx for removing the door handle, I messed up. I have the handle installed but not sure how to get the latch hooked back on so that the door functions.

 

There is a spring in there that helps the door open. Did that come off? The handle should slide back in and work.
