Ive got a cracked exhaust manifold and a cracked heat shield. Took my truck to a local mechanic and they quoted me $583 for parts and labor which I think is absolutely ridiculous when I could save my self at least $350 and do it my-self. Problem is I don't know where to start or how to even do the job. I found a step by step posting on here for doing my belts and was hoping to find something similar to help me replace my exhaust manifold, gasket, heat shield, and exhaust pipe gasket. If anyone could help me out I'd appreciate it.
