Cut & broke off stuff. Prolific ziptie and tape usage.
2 bulbs for $1.99 at Radio Shack. :D

    Not LED.
    Works fine. Good brightness.
I colored the bulb glass orange with a marker to match the original rather than reusing the old gel-cap piece. I assume you could just as easily use a whatever color marker you want to color the bulb.

    Item 272-1092.

    According to the package:
    "12V Microlamp"
    Bulb 7219, type T1.

Good to know. My 2015 has never lit up, so I'll have the dealer do it under warranty.

    Thanks!

This is one thing I've hated since I bought the truck having to feel around for the light switch and worry about hitting the locker by accident.

I actually moved my locker switch because of this. Never knew there was a light.

Thanks for this. I also bought my truck used. I don't remember if it ever lit up, but it does now!

    Cheers!

Good luck with those "free oil changes". You are a braver man than me!

    I AGREE!

I would pay a certain amount to ensure they DON'T touch my vehicle!

Sorry for the hijack but the dealers around me are not to be trusted with a lawnmower! It just really "grinds my gears"! :)

Checked my 2015 and was pissed that it didn't light, but that was in daytime. It's there, but very dim, not visible until dark.

Got my bulbs in. Fog light switch, locker, and upper power inverter bulbs were all burnt out. I would have never known if I had not found this thread.

the auto on the drivers door switch is supposed to light up. i took the switch apart last night there is a bulb in there but its soldered into the panel. i wish i had took a pic but didnt think about it at the time. so if your handy with a solder iron you could fix it.

That looks awesome! The light looks a little unevenly distributed across the switch though, is that just the picture or do yo notice it when driving too. I assume the blue isn't too bright?

Where did you get the blue bulbs at? I want to change all of mine to blue now. How many bulbs did you have to buy to replace them all?

Not sure, but they are cheap. I think it was 2x per switch.

This should be in the cheap/free mod section. Going to swap the bulbs this weekend, thanks for the writeup OP.
