    I have not decided where to mount them as I am still waiting on my replacement ones from TRS. They I will put the headlight bolts that are in the fender in, and mount the ballasts

    Front corner of left side fender. But that's where I did have them and as of right now they are not there due to having the ballast issues

    FXR left (phillips/denso)
    Mini H1 right (XB35 bulbs)

    Both 4300k.

    Phillips is quite a bit brighter in person. The 3" lenses also put alot more light down below where the Mini's drop out.

    I sure wish you could adjust the angles easy like the Mini's tho lol.

    Got it all wrapped up last night. I will throw pics up sometime today/tonight as it is raining now and I am lazy. Thanks for the great thread and advice.

    No problem at all! It makes it seem much easier. It's really not that bad but I'll admit I was scared to do FXRs until I did my mini retrofit, then it was game on

    I was terrified. I ordered a spare set of light housings (which are now for sale in the FS area) just in case I f'ed it up. Its not as clean as others look but the output is level and clean and I am happy.

    That's how mine is. I have the steel stik residue on the shrouds but barely noticeable .

    Explain how to put them in then? All the wires are connected. They worked before and the next thing I know it breaks or goes bad. Everything worked. I was not at fault and I used the method trs uses to hold the halo to the shroud

    Yours look good. I just wish it didn't happen. They looked so good with halos. I should have done the demon eye red for sure tho

    Yeah it sucks knowing you got to take them back apart but at least it'll just be the lenses and wiring, TRS replacing them for you ?
