I got mine installed about two weeks ago roughly. Haven't had time to upload pictures as my Son was born on the 18th of June! :D I did spray paint the holes I cut as well as put some silicone around the edges of the snorkel to fill and gaps and keep water from getting near my holes I cut (trying to make sure they don't rust up). I just got back from a weekend trip to Michigan so we could visit the in laws and during this time I kept track of my gas mileage since installing the snorkel. I can honestly say without a doubt after the 1146 mile trip that my average mpg increased by 2-3mpg! This was also while doing my average of 80mph on the highway so who knows maybe if I could even get a little bit better if I tried. I haven't done enough city driving yet to justify an answer for that but I'm sure it will be the same outcome. I'll try to get some pictures of how mine turned out later today. Also on a side note I couldn't tell you the amount of people coming up to me asking about the snorkel, with a lot of them walking out of the way to find me, tell me they like it, where I got it from, and if I installed it myself. :bananadance::headbang: Hope everyone enjoyed their weekend and Independence Day! :oldglory::oldglory::oldglory::oldglory::oldglory::oldglory:

Got a question for you guys? Since installing the snorkel on your truck have you notice lower intake temperatures ? I have notice about 10 degree difference since installing. These numbers are coming from a ultra Gauge.

If anyone needs that 15" 3" pipe at 45°
I could bend one with a EMT binder we use the pipe for electrical tubing @ work. I wonder if you could just do it with PVC and a BBQ to heat it! Haha..

Hate bumping an old thread but where are people getting these now? Have a few on Amazon I'm looking at but not sure if they're the correct model for a second gen. Any help is appreciated!

Awesome! That's the one I was looking at but some of the reviews made me question the fit.

Been great, only issue Ive had was the bolts that hold the a-pillar bracket to the snorkel neck, got rusty pretty quick. I painted them, and they've been doing great since. May eventually find some black stainless replacement bolts.
