Thanks guys. Junks yards are b/c if there are any second gen trucks there they are picked clean for sure. And they are rarely their. 60 is still pricey but I will bite the bullet at some point soon.

A slew of pricey stuff my wife hates me for.
Salvage yards are networked. They pick clean everything and ship the parts out. Always worth a phone call.

True. I will have to keep my eyes open for some deals. Man I just love how simple it is to change out the coil. Being a former s10 blazer owner working on a taco is a pleasure.

I had a Typhoon and plug/wire/cap/rotor changes were one of the primary reasons I sold it. With the mods I had it meant I had to change these things out VERY frequently (like every few hundred miles) and I finally had had enough.

Man those typhoons and cyclones were bad ass though. GM had just really started into planned obsolescence at that point though.

So I changed the spark plugs no problems switched around the possible bad ignition coil(#2) with #1. So the maintenance required light no longer flashes but stays up constantly now. The kicker is no computer picks up any codes at all. Can only dealerships read maintenance codes? I was really hoping to see a missfire on one. These damn ignition coils are like 90 bucks and there are four of them lol. Sorry first truck set up like this. The ohms were all jumping around on the questionable coil. Any ideas?

Man I feel like a moron just figured out the cheat code to reset the maintenance light. Figured disconnecting the battery would have gotten that. I have not driven it yet but the light is gone.

Well took me about an hour and a half was pretty easy. Drivers side was a pain in the rump.

These were taken out with 52460 miles on them.

Don't feel too bad...My wife asked for OEM replacement plugs and they sold her the iridiums. Dealerships....Money grubbers for the most part.

This write up worked for me. I changed my plugs out yesterday, using this as a guide. I have 64K on the truck and bought it used 2 years and 24k miles ago. Previous owner had not replaced the plugs. Anywho. Thanks Chris.
