Most of my sockets that I already own are 3/8", I had to get an adapter to use my existing sockets. This is also rated for "Motorcycles, bicycles, and small equipment", so the torque settings range is limited for heavier duty torque requirements.

I'll be changing mine out soon. If I use anti seize I'll go with the Aluminum anti seize.

Mayday, mayday! This may have been answered but... I just changed my plugs in my 2013 and my MPG is now ~half of normal! I'm gonna check to make sure everything is plugged in right but what could I have done wrong? No check engine light

More like a 1/3 of normal

Went to the stealership for the leaf spring recall.

Hopped on the forum to get the part number for the plugs and cause I could remember if I changed the spark plugs since I've had the Taco.

Found this thread, amazing, and replaced them this afternoon.

I will attempt to post pictures later but at 144294 miles the original plugs were still in. I replaced them and gaped the old ones ranging from 0.07 to almost 0.08.

Thank you guys for posting and being awesome. IMG_0298.jpg

Thanks everyone for the how-to's - did my plugs yesterday. Little over an hour to complete, thanks to the detailed writeups! Old plugs were in great shape - 42,000 km on them with a gap of .041 and clean. Denso plugs in and good for another 45,000 km's. Cheers

Finally got around to changing my plugs at 75k miles....and what a difference. The Denso plugs had eroded to .050, but the NGK plugs were at .060+. Trucks accelerates and runs much smoother. Took 2 hours as reported, most of that on the drivers side...

So, today I went to all the local parts houses asking for plugs for my truck and telling them I wanted the NGK's (I am an NGK man), and all of them tell me that the OEM plug is a platinum, I didn't even bother getting into an argument with any of them, most have never been under a hood anyhow. So no one had the plugs I wanted, they had to order them, picked them up this afternoon and forgot to buy a long pair of needle nose. Wouldn't ya know, one of my boots stayed on the plug, SMH! Anyhow, I found that the P.O. Had put motorcraft platinums in it, . These things looked worn out, what do y'all think?IMG_3499.jpgIMG_3498.jpg
At least nothing was fouled or not burning, all look the same. Im shocked how white the porcelain is, usually when I see plugs that clean its after a nitrous pass at the track.
