just wait till you know he is in there and then call the police and game warden about trespassing. Im not sure but i think if you kill a deer on private land without permission it may fall into the poaching category.

I would go have a talk with him, if he makes any threats against you tell the police what happened. If you see him on your place hunting after that call it in that he threatened you again with a gun. They will deal with him after that!

Definately do not lay any traps. As was said, he could sue and end up owning your place.

    Good luck.

Dig a hole big enough for his atv to fall in... Cover it with sticks and leaves... Make sure to do this where you have seen tracks. If you really want to get creative get bambo sticks sharpen them and place them in your hole... If he gets hurt say you were gonna be planting a tree.

I think the game camera is a good idea. But make sure that it doesn't have a big flash on it or else kiss it good bye. I think they have them with the infared flash now.

The game camera sounds like a good idea, though from what I understand of them, you gotta be right up on them to trigger them. If he's close enough to set it off, he's close enough to see it and steal it. The spike strips, tank traps and all that sound like a lawsuit waiting to happen.

Step 1 should be making your intentions clear (this is my land; I dont want you here and you cannot hunt here) should this ever become a legal matter. I would start out by posting "no hunting/trespassing" signs in 25 yard intervals on the borders of your land and just talking to the guy. If that doesn't work, Step 2 is calling the cops. Dealing with that kind of dickishness is what they're paid to do. Get all vigilante on this guy and there's a good chance you could end up in bracelets while he will be free to hunt your land at his leisure.

    Just my two cents

F*#K IT...SHOOT HIM and let god deal with it. Maybe give him one warning shot first. Running shots are more fun and challenging anyways. Ahahahaha :D

the douche bag would probably shoot the dog if it went after him

maybe you should give him some of his own medicine

drive your atv or whatever on his property and do wheelies in his driveway
sometimes face to face is what it takes
    or
maybe a group action of some sort
round up all your neighbors he has treated badly
    and confront him

People running around your property with guns without your permission is not legal in most states. Have someone follow you with a video camera and tape you while you brace the tresspasser and tell him to keep out. Now that you have a video of him being warned he can not tell you he did not know he was trespassing and had not been properly warned.

Next time he is on the property with a gun call the cops. Committing a crime (which includes criminal tresspass) while in possession of a gun gets you a minimum of three years in Florida. Show the tape to the cops and your boy should be headed to jail.

I was going to suggest this as well. Get creative put the Pungi sticks in a glass jar filled with urine 2 days before placing them in the hole.

I would personally get the police or the game wardens involved, that would be the best way to catch him.

any new news on this? have you shot him yet?

get the game warden involved and tell them you have poachers on your land.

dig some big holes on the trail he is entering, cover with a tarp, cover the tarp with leaves :D

oh and you could also fill the hole with water and piranhas
