Im trying to fix a major rattle and its coming from the rear seat! i figure if i can take off the black plastic behind the rear seat, i can stick something in between to fix it. Anyone know how to take this peice off? not the storage compartment

The plastic on the seat back just unscrews. If your talking about the plastic cubbys, then you need to remove the seat, unscrew the cubbyhole and then pull out. The storage area has two or three bolts and the seat has two bolts on either side.

Edit: I'm an idiot didn't read all your post. It just unscrews and then pulls off.

I know there is more than one screw. If you look on the bottom corners of the seat, you should see two covers that cover the seat bolts. Look under there and see if you can find more. I'm not in my truck so I can't look to help you out more.
