Hey guys, I am hoping you can help me out.
I am looking to buy a Tacoma and want one with the TRD Off Road package. Originally I was going to get a 2nd generation, but lack of funds is pushing me toward and older model and consequently less expensive.
My question is, is there a way to tell if it has the TRD off Road package just by looking at it?
I know on the second generation, you could tell by the hood scoop that is was only a TRD Sport and therefore doesn't have the locking differential. Also, I know where the button for the locking differential on the 2nd generations is located, so I can tell by pictures online of the interior whether or not it is a TRD off Road.

Are there tell tell signs like this in the 1st generation?
Where is the locking differential button located in the first generation?

Please ay advice would be greatly appreciated.
