How to turn off LSD and traction control?

On flat ground in 2WD . In reverse my truck is a one wheel wonder. I would be nice to jus be able to back up without all the drama.

 

Nature of the beast. Any truck with a light rear will do the same thing.

 

Stone stock 1981 SR5 parked right next to it . No issues.

 

Well it doesn't have any power. I'm not being a smartass this time. Go drive any truck smaller than a 1 ton. All of them will spin in reverse

 

All the more reason to flip a switch and lock the diff and back up without rutting up the lawn and slinging mud on the house.

I'll burn this shit box to the ground before I put it into 4wd just to back off my lawn. I wonder why the LSD doesn't work in reverse. I also wonder why the traction control will make the truck stop instead of going up the driveway. Honest I have to hit the drive way at speed or it starts shutting down.

 

Or you could just use 4wd and quit being so stubborn

 

I don't think this would require 4wd to drive up that driveway.

They are good for what I use them for. I drive mostly in sand . K02's get shit done.

It's the part time LSD one tire fire , traction control shit click clanking around inside the dash and under the hood that makes this truck a donkey. My 81 has bald K02's and creeps right up no problem. I blame my 2016 TRD Off-Road not the tires.

Not being able to lock the rear in 2wd has me seriously considering a Raptor. All the fun happens in locked 2wd
