I'm up in the air about where to put it, I'd like to have power in the cab and bed. Those of you that put one in, where'd you put it and how'd you run the wires. I have a reg cab if you guys have any ideas.

the real question is what are you trying to power (how many watts)? then we can discuss options from there.

Back of armrest. Wired it to my auxiliary battery with a 70-amp continuous duty solenoid. This is a 400-watt Bestek inverter. Can't remember what gauge wire I used - 8 or 10 gauge. I have double cab.

I have a 500 watt one and thick enough cable, I'm asking for mounting options

Install in the original spot under the arm rest, and install outlets in the cab

I've got an 1800w inverter in my double cab. I put it in the organizer on the passenger side behind the rear seat. I used 6 gauge wire with a 180 amp breaker. Its nice to use the coffee perk but I have to see the truck up so it puts enough power out.
