Just unhook the wire under the seat. It’s a two wire normally closed circuit. Seat senses weight with the circuit closed and turns the light on. Plugging the belt in breaks the circuit and turns it off. Basically it’s thinking it’s always buckled

@BillDaCat8 spend hundreds of dollars to get rid of rev hang? Although annoying there is much more to be gained here sir! FOCUS! Get it, tune it, go smoke tires! :burnrubber:

I’ve already forgot most of what I read in the beginning of this. Too much to keep up with

    My shit is all stock.
Oh, I’m definitely interested in all the other goodies too. Believe me. But even if my truck was not modified a bit, I would still buy this thing just to get rid of that rev-hang. It makes it miserable to drive. I love everything else about the truck. This is my one big complaint. None of my other stick shift cars do this shit. It drives me nuts. If I ever get my hands on the fucking dude that invented that shit it’s going to be ugly.

If anyone has a Bully Dog tuner laying around, it can do it.

Ok, got loaded up with @JustDSM stock tune this morning. I haven’t conferred with him since, so he will be reading this with everyone else lol. Initial impression is positive. I haven’t had a ton of seat time since the flash but overall drivability seems improved. I don’t think there are big gains to be made without bolt ons, but the power seems more linear than before. I’ve never had a pedal commander or the like so I can’t compare to that. The place I think most of the improvements happen are 2.5-4K WOT, seems to pull harder there than before (perfect for highway passing). I will be hitting the rollers on the 9th and we will see if it’s all in my head. Would I buy it again, I’d say yes. I’ll be driving more over the next few days and update. After I get on the dyno to get baselines the bolt ons will start. I’ve always run 93 octane when available so I feel like I’m getting my money’s worth now

I'd be concerned that it would affect the airbag system. It operates different if your seatbelts isnt fastened.

It thinks it is fastened. It’s a two wire plug. To me it’s It’s the only way it can work to affect the light and alarm There’s a weight sensor. And a seatbelt plug. Break the circuit it thinks it’s plugged in

Could test it by jumping the plug and seeing if the alarm comes on.. then remove jumper and alarm and light go off.

Do it the right way, easy to do on the 12+'s with a techstream cable or have the dealer do it for free.
