4.56, but I know what you meant. Get a real tune on it from @JustDSM with the @nd4spdbh ghost pepper trans tune and it will be a completely different truck. I’m on 37’s with the same gear ratio and it’s great. (Granted I do want 5.29’s since mine isn’t a daily driver anymore)

@nd4spdbh 's Ghost Pepper Chili Habanero Carolina Reaper trans tune really wakes up @JustDSM 's TRD crack tune.

It drives the way the truck should have driven straight from the factory. ;)

Well... In comparison to OE drive quality plus my extra levels of tweaking I have on my own version of my tunes I call it the Ghost Pepper Chili Habanero Carolina Reaper trans tune.

I just like adding extra spiciness to it because it all sounds great.

Can HPtuners also simulate O2 sensors? For those folks that have long tube headers? Or do you still need the URD simulators or trick the ECU otherwise?

HPTuners can turn off rear o2 sensors entirely, so it eliminates the need to run simulators.

Got my ECU back from @JustDSM and all I can say is WOW. Better shifting and power through the whole range. No more hunting for gears. Firm and crisp shifting. If you have been thinking about doing the tune....do it!!! Thanks again Justin!!!!

Well I'm super happy with the V13 "ooooh weeee! This ketchup has some zip" tune!* Truck is running and shifting just the way I want it to. Thanks nd4spdbh!!

*Inside joke. My grandma grew up in North Dakota and thought everything was spicy; even ketchup.

haha yeah. for us normal driving folks the v13 has been a pretty sweet trans tune. The Hot Boiz on the other hand like their spicy.

Just so your clear, HpTuners will only turn off the sensor, it does not act like a 02 sim. You will not pass emissions with hptuners. You will still need 02 sims if you are required to get emissions in your area.

Can you clarify this statement. Are you speaking to a specific test in the state of Colorado or Washington state? Many states only check ready codes and MIL lights. None of which require sims.

I think he means that the physical sensor has to actually be there for emissions inspections and you will fail if they are not there, but turning off the code eliminates the need for o2 sims entirely.

Hptuners will turn off the Mil but it will not allow the sensor to be in ready status. So if your State does the check ready status it will fail.

sort of true. First, the ready code is not listed separately for upstream and downstream sensors. They are combined and once turned off the ready code lists as not supported. I will confirm this again but it doesn’t list as not ready just not supported. Even if it does report as Not Ready, this does not necessary fail you. For example in North Carolina, any vehicle prior to 2001 can pass with 2 not ready codes. After 2001, your vehicle is allowed to have one not ready code, so it depends on the state as to whether you would fail or not, but valid point nonetheless that HPTuner cannot manipulate ready codes.
