Update truck feels a lot better. Shift points and shifts are sportier but are in no way harsh. @JustDSM thank you very much I bet I’ll love it even more when I get some miles on it

Well @JustDSM i just got an update from the wife. Not only is she still loving the tune, but she’s up about 1.5mpg. Keep up the good work and one of these days I’ll plug back in and see if they’ve added more channels to get better logs and update the tune a little more.

Anyone else getting a definitions failed to load error when opening up an HPT file in vcm editor this morning? This occurs right after it reaches out to HPT servers. Literally changed nothing on my laptop since a few days ago when i opened the same file no probs. (tried multiple different ones as well and different vehicles)

Have you tried reinstalling HPT suite and redownloading the latest beta VCM suite?

NVM, just installed the latest beta, Realized i hadnt updated my beta version in over 2 months. Ooops.

Next, i got to thinking from another thread, Those poor souls that are 2012's with no SAIS purge on shutdown, they could easily switch to a 2013 ECU to get the shutdown purge to save their SAIS valves and remain emission complaint.

Or those poor souls with 2012+ ECUs could install a 2011- ECU and have no SAI problems.

But then have no cruise control illumination (still functions) and a dead coolant gauge.

    Tradeoffs I suppose.

On your end or Justin's end? I like my 2011 PCM but the gauge not working and the CC is an annoyance. I have an external coolant gauge so I always know the exact temp which good but knowing the CC is on is on is definitely one of those pet peeves.

Outside of what I mentioned the 2011 PCM is a sound retrofit option for 12 and up trucks. I know many of us who have the year indicated and up trucks who would want to switch over for obvious reasons.

Any experience in removing permanent codes? I have a JustDSM tunet which drives great. I'm not sure if after I did the fuel pump or if there where there since the tune but I can't get to get these damn codes to go away.
