Getting re-geared next week. Have you guys messed with the gear ratio setting with success? I'm guessing shift points and more are all calculated or based on this?

Shit bolted onto other shit, and junk.
Not of any use. All controlled in the TCU and not accessible via HP Tuners. You can adjust transmission shift points. @nd4spdbh probably can get you started in the right direction. However, this is done via input and output shaft speeds. The gear ratio settings in HP are not active for Tacos yet that I know of.

The only thing shift points are based on is throttle pedal input and driveshaft rpms. Regearing wont change shift points at all with respect to those two inputs, but what might change is the fact you have regeared puts less load on the motor, thus less throttle input needed and perceived shift point changes.

Thanks for the info. I thought I would have to adjust this parameter. I'm very happy with my current trans tune, just the 3.73 is obviously less than optimal on 35s. Super excited to finally get it done.

Regear is the best thing you can do once you go bigger tires. Heck I’d almost argue it’s needed stock. What ratio did you go with? Gear talk is getting me excited to pick up my front diff this weekend

I went for 4.88. Didn't feel the need to go too extreme.

4.88 with 35’s will be perfect.

@JustDSM was there ever any update to the 2TR being supported? I don't see it on their site, but over a year ago this thread teased support for it with a few screenshots but it was so far back I never saw if it made it to beta. Figured you'd be the one to ask!

I haven’t checked recently, but sadly I don’t think any progress has been made.

If I hear differently, I promise I’ll be sure to make an announcement and get development underway.

The counts are probably being filtered. You can swap axis's pretty easily within the chart settings, just a lil copy pasta.

Also unless you added a map sensor on the v6... there isnt one, honestly i dunno how its getting that data.

Pontiac gto ls2 ;) i do have filters on my histograms but the counts shouldnt change between zoom data/all data if i zoom out to see the entire datalog

I meant physically labeled by hptuner. The true graphs (imo) is the lines vs time. But thats labeled charts. The histograms are labeled graphs but i think it should be labeled charts

AHH ok that makes more sense. I believe here is your problem

    upload_2021-8-12_11-22-49.jpg

Your only looking at counts for the section visible on the line chart area.
