    Question for all of you that know?
    The inner axle seal (seal between axle and spindle) how many metal retaining bands does it have. When I pulled my hub a few days ago the seal was gone. Now, I am going to replace the seal between axle and spindle but I found two (2) metal retainer bands and only one seal, I think. All the diagrams I have seen have only showed one seal there, and was hoping it just has two bands. Anyone know? and if I am wrong, what other seals need to be changed?

    Next question: Can I change this seal (inner axle seal) without removing tie rods. I was hoping I could just massage the new seal in past the spindle and mount by just pushing axle in a little. I know I could and maybe should remove tie rod and swivel spindle so I can mount new seal. But am being lazy and wondering if it possible without moving spindle.
    I have the new hub and bearings ordered from here, and just looking for a few answers while I wait for parts.

    One inner seal that I'm sending you. Simply remove the two bolts on the lower control arm/ball joint, swing the spindle up and axle out an install new seal.
