At 65mph I'm getting a humming noise that sounds like it's behind me. When I take my foot off the gas or coast there's no noise.

O.k. so im doing 65mph, sounds like rear end or drive line hum hum hum hum. Taking my foot off the gas no humming. I was thinking Pinion gear or U joint, something in the drive while there is a load on engine. About 2 weeks ago I left my place and was hearing a clicking sound form the right rear as well.

    Lots baby!
If you replace the u-joints, use the ones for a 4wd Tacoma. They will fit, but they have zerk fittings installed, whereas the 2wd Tacomas do not have zerk fittings.
