Just had power come back on. Was without it for better part of the day.

Also, county started a curfew for overnight.

A little humor. Everyone stay safe. I've only gotten 1/2 a inch of rain and mild winds. (Halifax county)

Ditto, first I’ve ever heard of them. Seems like a great group with awesome intentions.

From what I read, it didn’t say why, only that the New Bern Emergency Operations Center (EOC) told them that they would handle all necessary rescues.

    I think they just relocated.

Really, why? Why not take all the help you have? Get folks rescued sooner? :notsure:

I agree. If everything is coordinated, ALL resources available would get things done a lot quicker.

Cajun Navy was in full force in Houston. Really the first time they got much news attention. I went to corpus Christi to help after Harvey and saw them in force on my way down. Great group of human beings if I do say so.

Waiting on the word to head south to help put the lights back on but this is what I’ve been watching to track outages.

Neuse is about 3 feet below flood stage. Went for 6 feet to what it is now I’m just a couple hours

The rain in Wilmington NC is no joke right now. As of 130AM sat morning, my work has 2-3" all way thru. And still many hours rain left. I've been in this building over 15 years and been thru many storms and never had water touch the building..

It's just a building and stuff, all replaceable. But it it that bad there really worried about others that are in worse spots that thought it wouldn't flood. I would never thought possible to have my whole building have water covering the floor
