    Pic Heavy.

Hello everybody. I spent the weekend (Nov 2 thru 4) in Panama City doing some relief work with my Church and would like to encourage all of you to do the same if you can. The devastation there cannot be described in words.

I traveled on Friday from Cusseta Al down US 231 thru Dothan AL. Dothan Alabama marks the beginning of where you can see signs of damage. From Dothan South it gets increasingly worse. Small towns like Cottondale, Campbellton FL all were hit hard.

When people say "It looks like a bomb went off" they are exactly right. The Panama City, Callaway, Springfield and Parker areas are hit very hard. Some residents are even living in tents next to their destroyed house for fear of looters. Power is slowly coming back on but for the media to say things are slowly getting back to normal is a slap in the face to every resident of this area. That couldn't be farther from the truth. It is heartbreaking to see the struggle and also heartwarming to see the majority of people helping their fellow man.

If you can run a chainsaw, deliver water and canned goods, I really encourage you to do so. Woodlawn United Methodist Church in Panama City Beach has information on people that have requested help. I'm sure there are other churches in the area doing the same. The team from my church contacted them and they gave us our mission details. They start everyday at 9am.

Keep in mind help is also needed everywhere in Michael's path. This is NOT just limited to the Panama City area.

Below are some photo's of the trip and some before/after shots I pieced together. Keep in mind relief efforts have been ongoing for almost a month. These are taken all over the city and not limited to one small area of Panama City. EVERYWHERE looks like this.

They will need help for a very long time. Keep them in your thoughts and prayers.

    Thank you.

Every street, almost a month later has power lines still down on it. They are getting the new post and lines up but don't have time to fool with the downed lines. Just run over em.

This is GoPro footage from driving around the area between cleanup locations. It's a long video yes, but I had almost 3 hours of footage. Skip around, whatever. This just puts you on the ground driving around the neighborhoods.
