    Hey Guys,

I am anxiously awaiting delivery of my 2020 TRD Pro, and have been slowly picking up some bits and pieces for it. One of the items I am about to order for it is the Hybrid Bumper made by Lil B's Fabrication. That is one of my favorite designs out there.... but... how would this bumper look on a stock TRD PRO with just the stock suspension? Maybe a stupid question, but most trucks I have seen with a Hybrid front bumper have 33" tires and suspension lifts. I was hoping to stay away from a suspension lift. Swapping the tires out to KO2's or similar is not an issue in a slightly larger size, but I really want to keep the suspension factory. Opinions of how it would look without raising the truck?

With a full bumper and winch combo, I think you'll find the TRD Pro front coilovers will sag excessively and you'll have a ton of nose dive when coming to a stop. I had the Pro suspension and a slimline (with 8k winch) and I ended up swapping out to an adjustable coilover, to compensate for the excessive weight.

I know that's not answering the question you were asking, but it's food for thought. I also think the 32" tires will look anemic with the full exposure on the front. Keep in mind, 33's (285's) tend to be wider too, so it's not just the diameter.

Is it me or is there a large gap between the grill and bumper and does it look strange ?

Roger that on the weight. That’s a concern and I was not planning on installing a winch until I did something with the suspension down the road. The anemic look however is a serious issue. No point in doing it if it isn’t going to look right.

If you guys are talking about the gap between the metal hybrid bumper and what's left of the factory plastics... there's good reason for that gap. When you offroad, the truck's body will flex independently of the frame. If you don't provide a large enough gap, the body work will contact the metal hybrid bumper. See the following post for a very good example of why that gap is important.

The tires will look fine. I have 265/75r16s with my CBI Moab 2.0 and the tires don't look too small. Don't get me wrong it'll look better once I step up to 285s this fall but by no means will it look bad or anemic.

The stock 32s look really dinky once you open up the front with that. Aluminum front is the way to go unless you're actively smashing rocks all the time. My front end didn't change at all when I put my aluminum cbi bumper on, but I don't have a winch.

Greenland's bumper gap is a little excessive though. I only had an 1/8th inch gap and it only rubbed a bit, even when wheeling. Doesn't bother me though since it's aluminum and won't rust.

My favorite bumper on the market right now. Definitely on my list to get.
It will definitely sag the front down a bit with stock suspension but shouldn't affect it too much. I've seen some stock non-pro trucks with bumpers that look like they came out of Mad Max and they SEEM to be doing ok.
IMO the stock 265s will look slightly odd but nothing crazy.

It's your new truck. Do with it what you want!

Edit: Heres a post of another member that basically did what you're aiming to do and the front is sagging. Check out his pics. https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/trd-pro-suspension-drooping-front-after-bumper-solutions.671941/

Thanks! That picture was from the trail that made me cave and get a new susp. Lol. Did my skid plate dirty.

Ya I looked at your build. That’s still my favourite angle for a shot so I grabbed it.
