Hyluxtek HID kit with CNLight ball bulbs

They look the same to me, but be weary buying from Manufactory88. I'm STILL battling with them for a refund on the order they never shipped. They said they won't issue a refund unless I change the negative feedback... yeah that's not how it works... when you never ship an item and ignore all my messages until a case had to be opened against you, then you get negative feedback. I have asked eBay to step in on my behalf to resolve the issue. What a pain in the ass!

 

I'm debating whether or not to order this kit from Manufactory88 for my 2018 4Runner.

Not only is the Diode Dynamics kit double the price but also is backordered 6 to 8 weeks.

And why is Manufactory88 charging $93 one listing and $88 for the other when both have the same ballast and round bulb?

 

Call them to find out if it is in fact back ordered. My mom bought their foglights last week and it said the same “6-8 week” wait time. They shipped out the next day.

Just a word of caution: The reason I ordered from Manufactory88 is because they were out of stock at diode dynamics when I wanted to order the kit. The Diode dynamics kit came back in stock a couple weeks after I ordered from Manufactory88 and I was still left waiting several more weeks before the estimated delivery date.... which never ended coming at all! It was almost a 2 month long battle with eBay to get a refund from those ass holes. I did finally get the refund a couple days ago, but I must have spent a couple hours on the phone between all the calls I made to them.

 

OK, one guy had a problem. Plenty of people have ordered from manufactory88 to include myself without a single issue. I have bought several of their products for different vehicles without issue. They respond quickly to my communications and I have never had an issue getting in touch with them. I have received all my orders in about a week and no longer than two weeks, about the same to be expected from regular ground shipping.

I'm not sure where you guys are getting prices but I paid $80 for my HID kit including bulbs from manufactory88.

That same kit from diode dynamics is twice that at $200 w/ 20% off = $160

Since you obviously think I’m making it up, here’s my messages to the seller over a month after placing the order, then eBay finally issuing a refund. The original order was at the beginning of October for bulbs and ballasts.

 

LMAO. You need to chill dude. Where did I even imply you made it up, I simply gave my experience because you keep ranting about it here.

The point I was making is that one bad egg\experience doesn't spoil the whole dozen.

6-8 week lead time!!!!! Probably because their supplier is selling everything direct on eBay

 

I took a chance and purchased from Manufactory88. I asked the seller about the $88 and $93 kits and they said it was the same. Needless to say I got the $88 one.

 

I placed an order with him last month, and it still hasn't gotten here yet.. It took 22 days to make it from Shanghai to Los Angeles. Hope you're patient.

 

I’m looking out for others in this forum because I’ve never dealt with an eBay seller who completely ignored all attempts to make contact until a case was opened, and then outright told me they wouldn’t voluntarily refund my money unless I removed the negative feedback. That’s some super shady business practices. Who’s to say there wasn’t a change of management since you ordered last and the place has gone to dog shit since. I’ll leave it alone though, it’s your money and you can do with it what you please. I’ve said my peace.

 

Dude it’s straight out of China. Literally you are dealing with a Chinese rep in China and the part is shipped from the same factory all hykuxtek parts are made. Your expectations are way to high for customer service. That’s why you pay 50% less.

Hopefully people don’t have issues with future orders though.

 

Ended up getting a bit screwed over by diode dynamics. I ordered during the Black Friday sale and after a week I contacted them and they told me that they are back ordered and will take another 2-3 weeks to ship. I specifically know it didn’t say anything about the 4300k bulbs being back ordered. But I can’t do anything now besides wait. It said the 5k were a 2-3 week wait but nothing about the 4300

 

That sucks, I’d ask them to see if they can do anything for you since you ordered them while they said “in stock”. You can always cancel the order and try Manufactory88!! I had a problem with one of my original CNLight bulbs and it was nice being able to call up diode dynamics, speak to a human in the US, and then have a new bulb set in 3 days.

 

Just an update... I received my kit yesterday. It took 19 days to deliver which IMO isn't that bad considering it was through the holidays.

Now time to install them and hope I can get everything working.

 

Wow that’s better than through diode dynamics and cheaper. I’m still waiting on mine :/

 

Ok I just ordered from Manufactory88. I hope they come thru.

And I hope the Cnlight round bulbs works with my 2018 4Runner side entry projectors. I don’t believe anyone in the 4Runner community has used these bulbs yet.

 

Manufactory88 communicates pretty fast. I requested 5000k but they said it is out of stock. I told them 4300k then 10 minutes later they sent me tracking number. All this took less than 1 hour after I paid. Right now the package shows movement.

 

I ordered a Morimoto instead of a Diode Dynamics relay harness because it was cheaper on Ebay with the coupon last week.

Is the 9006 relay harness the correct one to use with HIDs? I figured 9006 is the proper one because I can use a H11 to 9006 conversion harness on the input of the relay harness. Then 9006 output of the relay harness to the 9006 input of the HID ballasts.

 

11 Month Update

I’ve had my Hyluxtec HIDs installed for 11mo now and a month ago I began experiencing my passenger side light going out intermittently. I notice it probably twice per week.

I tried swapping left and right bulbs and a spare bulb to rule out the bulbs. It was not the bulb.

I realized that if I move the ballast output wire, the light comes back on. So there is an issue with the ballast. I need to contact the seller to see how the 3yr warranty works.

 

I've had mine for about a year and a half and have the exact same issue with the passenger side only. If it does not come on automatically when I start the truck (lights left on auto all the time), I turn the lights off and then on again at the switch and it will turn on along with the driver side. My assumption was that the ballast was occasionally not getting enough power to ignite/power the bulb since both right and left come off the same power wire from the relay in my setup. I was going to but in a separate power feed and another relay off the headlight wire to isolate and power the passenger side to see if that corrected the issue but haven't done it yet. Could be the ballast although it's odd that it would be the passenger side for both of us since the ballast isn't side specific. Thoughts on my theory from anyone?
