    meter the wires in the factory harness at the radio, checking for continuity to ground again. We should only get the beep on the ground wire (white/black stripe) and maybe the green illumination wire.

    Ok so Use a ground instead of ground wire for neg lead?

    yes. just put the neg lead on the outer cig lighter portion or any metal in the dash.

    And none of the wires in the factory harness show continuity to ground? But the fuse pops as soon as the head unit gets plugged in? That’s super odd
