i cant figure out if this is a good deal?

    ok i have found a 2005 silver sr5 v6 access cab toyota tacoma. it has a matching camper shell and it has 42,000 miles on it and the guy wants $19,000 for it. What do u guys think should i take it or leave it?

    NO. But I am looking to get rid of my 06 TRD Prerunner DoubleCab with 37k. I would sell it for that same price in a hearbeat and it has a few extras. Buy new for that price.

    New in that configuration has a MSRP of about 28 thousand with the 6 speed. Have you checked the blue book value?
    The way Tacoma's hold their value it's probably in the ball park but it depends on how well it's been maintained or how much it's been abused. What kind of warranty would you get with it?

    htat actually sounds about right for a tacoma, price does not go down very much. i was looking at an 04 double cab loaded with 4x4 and it was 22k. i'm sure i could have talked him down a couple grand but that just goes to show you that these trucks dont lose value fast. its probably smarter to buy used but i doubt you'll find a much better deal on a used one
