I am running the same tires in the same size with stock suspension that is badly worn. Driver side rubs on frame a little at full lock. I do not notice any other rubbing when wheeling.

^ How do they perform in the Alaskan wilderness?? snow, ice, mud. etc?

This is my first winter w/ them and it has been strangely warm in NJ so havn't really had to test them at all.

The rubbing really depends on the tire...the width of the footprint, if it has a squared block shoulder versus a rounded block shoulder, etc. For me, it is the outside shoulder rubbing on the plastic at the back of the fender. It doesn't rub the frame at all.

I don't actually know, haha. I have a set of studded tires I use in the winter. I imagine they would do alright in the winter though. I'm planning on selling my studded tires this summer to buy a larger set of duratracs for the summer, and I will use my Discoverers for the winter. If they do OK, great, if not, I'll get them studded/siped.

I have those tires in 265/75/16 and love them. They feel great on the road and tear up mud and snow. Could not be happier.
