I dont know what happened. my rod/reel combos multiplied.

my goal is to have 5-7 rod reel combo TOTAL.
I figure a punch rod, and possibly a frog rod should be only single use rods.

treble hook set up
light worm.X2

7 total. things have gotten out of hand. i have 12?! maybe time to unload a few things.

are you littered with fishing rods and reels? I only have two hands!

 

I have well over 30 rods and over 100 reels. 7-10 of the rods get used pretty regularly and 12-14 of the reels.

I wouldn’t say it’s as much of a fishing problem as it is a collecting problem. I collect antique rods, old penn saltwater conventional reels and misc other reels that look cool.

and old lures too…

 

You’re a light weight. I’ve got 60+ rod/reel combo’s and that not counting my fly rods. When I go some place like Cabelas/basspro I just can’t help myself, I just need a new one. So far I’ve been able to keep my addiction from my wife. I’m just hoping she doesn’t look in my gun safe.

 

I had about 6 or 7 of my own then when my dad was unable to go anymore I inherited his 9 or 10 and recently my brother passed and i now have all his. I’m now looking into ceiling racks to hold them all. They are all over the place and getting in the way.

 

Yeah they will do that. You gotta keep an eye on them.
