I purchased the truck brand new in 2011. After paying it off I decided to do something with it. Lots of good info on this site led me to add the following: Bilstein 5100 all the way around. Front set at 1.75. Icon 3 leaf pack to the rear (stock helper spring removed). Both from wheelers. Tires are Bridgestone Dueler AT 265/75/17 mounted to brand new 2015 TRD PRO rims. I also added a kenwood in dash nav system and Bluetooth. I was fortunate and have no vibrations in anyway, no squeaks, and it rides far nicer than it did. Lost a couple MPG but oh well.

Yes sir. Part of my decision to purchase of a Tacoma 5 years ago was "It's a 300k mile truck easy, drive it long after it's paid for and then let it pay you". I use it, but I also keep after it - because now, I want to enjoy just as nice of a ride wo a payment as I had when I did have a payment!

One house, the door that's open goes to my shop. If you look between the house and the shop in the background you can see the race bales to the dirt bike track in the background. Got tired of mowing all of it so now some of it is a moto playground - much better utilization of space IMHO!!

One can never have too many light bars.
Looks good. Nice responsible move by waiting to pay it off before doing any major upgrades. I have the same plan and I'm less than a year out.

Grab a pit bike, bring a 12 pack and head up here w some Texas warmth. Here is a drone photo from one of our "track days" Its basically a bunch of 40 yr old x motox racers beating each other up on Kawasaki KLX110s and our kids on 50s with training wheels.

I wasn't sure if I was going to like the rims, fortunately my hunch that they should look pretty good was correct. I've had the leveling kit on since x mas break, the more I look at it the more I like it.
